Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about AI Media Lab — our services, how we work, and what to expect across AI production, agentic automation, enterprise event operations, and AI app development.
AI Media Lab is a Dubai-based AI company operating across four verticals. We produce AI-native media content (video, dubbing, animation, VFX, and visual content), design and deploy autonomous AI agent systems for workflow automation, operate a modular enterprise event operations platform, and build full-stack AI-powered applications. Every capability combines AI systems with human creative direction and strategic oversight. We deliver working systems and finished outputs — not consulting or strategy documents.
Our clients include government entities, enterprise organizations, media companies, agencies, and startups — primarily across the GCC and MENA region, with projects extending globally. Within government, we work with media offices, communications departments, and event operations teams. Within enterprise, we work with communications, marketing, operations, and digital transformation teams. We operate in both Arabic and English across all verticals.
We are based on Emirates Towers Boulevard in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. All services are delivered from our Dubai operation.
Three things separate us. First, we started as a production studio — that origin means we measure every system we build by the quality and reliability of its output, not just its technical capability. Second, we deliver deployed systems, not proofs of concept. What we build is what goes live. Third, we cover the full range — from creative content production to autonomous automation to operational platforms to custom applications — under one team, with one point of accountability. Most AI companies specialize in one layer. We operate across all four.
Seven specialized services: AI Video Production (short-form to cinematic), AI Dubbing, Lip-Sync & Localization (multi-language with voice cloning), AI Avatar & Digital Human (presenter-led video without cameras), AI Image & Visual Content (campaign visuals and product renders), Social Media Content Packages (monthly production for growth), AI Animation, Cartoon & Anime (education, entertainment, and brand), and AI VFX, CGI & Post-Production Enhancement (visual effects and restoration). Services work independently or combine — a single engagement might include video production, dubbing into eight languages, and social media adaptation.
AI is integrated across the full creative pipeline — concept development, visual generation, editing, dubbing, animation, and post-production. Our creative directors guide every project. AI handles execution speed and scale. The result is content produced faster and across more formats than traditional production allows, without compromising on creative quality. Every output is reviewed and approved by a human creative director before delivery.
Films and cinematic narratives, TV commercials and advertising campaigns, social media content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, Stories), corporate communications and training videos, AI avatars and digital presenters, multi-language dubbed and localized content, anime and cartoon-style animation, and visual effects and post-production enhancement. Most projects combine multiple services — a campaign might involve video production, dubbing into six languages, and social media adaptation from a single brief.
AI avatars are realistic, AI-generated presenters that deliver any script in any language — without cameras, studios, or talent scheduling. We create custom digital humans matched to your brand identity, or deploy from existing avatar options for faster turnaround. Every avatar video is lip-synced, naturally animated, and produced to a standard that holds up in professional corporate, training, and marketing contexts. Voice cloning from a real spokesperson is available for consistent identity across content.
We clone the original speaker's voice, dub it into any target language with natural tone and cadence, and synchronize the speaker's lip movements to match the new audio — frame by frame. The result is a video that looks and sounds natively produced in the target language. No re-filming required. A single production can be extended into Arabic, English, Hindi, Mandarin, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and more. Three tiers are available: standard voice dubbing, premium voice with lip-sync, and enterprise-grade live dubbing for broadcast and real-time applications.
It depends on the service and tier. Basic social content can be delivered in days. Standard branded video typically takes one to two weeks. Premium cinematic production, anime, and complex VFX projects are scoped individually — timelines vary with complexity. Multi-language dubbing and localization can extend any project by days rather than weeks, since it doesn't require re-filming. We'll confirm timelines during the scoping conversation.
Yes. All deliverables and intellectual property belong to you. Full rights, no lock-in, no licensing restrictions. You own everything we produce.
Agentic AI refers to autonomous multi-agent systems that execute complete workflows without step-by-step human prompting. Unlike chatbots that respond to individual questions, agentic systems continuously monitor inputs, make decisions, generate outputs, route for approval, and distribute results across an entire workflow chain — autonomously and at operational speed. Every system we build is custom-designed around your specific workflow. There is no generic product.
A chatbot waits for a prompt and responds to one question at a time. An agentic system runs continuously — monitoring data sources, making decisions within defined boundaries, generating content or reports, routing outputs through approval chains, and distributing final deliverables to the right channels. It handles multi-step workflows autonomously. Human involvement is limited to the decision points you define — typically strategic approvals, editorial sign-off, or exception handling. Everything else runs on its own.
Three categories. Media workflows: press release drafting, media monitoring, campaign asset generation, content adaptation, crisis communication, and distribution automation. Operational workflows: multi-step approval routing, task automation, status reporting, document generation, and cross-department coordination. Data and intelligence workflows: real-time monitoring, automated analysis, dashboard population, intelligence reports, and anomaly detection. Most deployments combine elements from two or all three categories.
No. Agents handle execution — the repetitive, high-volume, time-consuming middle of your workflows. Your team focuses on strategy, creativity, judgment, and decisions. Every system includes human-in-the-loop approval at the decision points that matter. The goal is to free your most capable people from process work so they can do the thinking work only humans can do.
Typical deployments follow a six-week timeline from kickoff to go-live, with two weeks of post-launch refinement included. Complex multi-workflow deployments may take longer. We can start with a single workflow and expand as you see results — no long-term commitment is required to begin.
Data stays in-region. We implement enterprise-grade security with access controls, full audit trails of every agent action and decision, role-based permissions, and encrypted data pipelines. Systems are designed to meet the governance requirements of public-sector entities and regulated industries. Human-in-the-loop approval ensures nothing is published or distributed without the oversight your organization requires.
It is a modular operations platform built for complex, high-profile events — government summits, international conferences, VIP protocol events, exhibitions, awards ceremonies, and corporate flagships. The platform covers registration, ticketing, VIP approval workflows, speaker and sponsor management, logistics coordination, and a live operations command center. It is not generic event management software — it is operational infrastructure for events where failure is not an option.
The platform was fully deployed at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai — one of the world's largest creator economy events. Three days, three venues (Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Museum of the Future, and DIFC), government supporters including Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Defence, RTA, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future, and global sponsors including Emirates, Disney+, Visa, Binance, BMW, Sony, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, and du. Every core and enterprise module was live and operational. The event was delivered without operational incident across a speaker roster with a combined follower reach exceeding 3.5 billion.
Thirteen core modules cover the full event lifecycle: registration management, ticketing, event website CMS, mobile event app, agenda management, notifications, CRM and attendee management, speaker management, sponsor management, admission management, analytics and reporting, multi-language support, and dashboard and admin panel. Five enterprise differentiator modules add premium capabilities: VIP and guest approval engine, logistics coordination platform, running order and operations control, multi-role operational management, and a live operations dashboard (command center).
Yes. The platform is modular — you activate only the modules your event requires. Three packages are available. Standard covers core operational needs for corporate conferences and workshops. Enterprise adds multi-stakeholder coordination, sponsor management, and advanced reporting for larger events. Mission-Critical includes everything — VIP approval workflows, logistics coordination, running order control, and the live operations command center. That is the package deployed at the 1 Billion Followers Summit.
Full Arabic and English support is native across all modules — registration, mobile app, event website, CMS, notifications, and dashboards. Right-to-left (RTL) layout support is built in, not retrofitted. Additional languages are configurable per event.
Yes. The integration layer supports government authority systems (DTCM, DET, or regional equivalents), payment gateways (regional and global), CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, SAP), SSO and identity providers, badge and credential printing hardware, SMS, WhatsApp Business, and email providers, hotel and logistics provider systems, and custom API integrations via REST and webhooks.
We build full-stack, production-grade applications with AI embedded at their core. Our lead verticals include health and wellness (AI-powered wearable and companion apps), smart city and government (citizen services, urban management, public sector automation), media and entertainment (creator tools, content platforms, audience engagement), and enterprise operations (internal tools, automation systems, data-driven dashboards). We handle strategy, AI architecture, UX design, development, and deployment.
In most development engagements, the application is designed first and AI is added as a feature afterward. We reverse that sequence. The AI layer — which models, what data pipelines, how the intelligence surfaces to the user — is designed first. The application is built around that intelligence. This produces a fundamentally different kind of product: one where AI is the engine, not an accessory bolted onto a traditional app.
Both. We build native iOS and Android applications for App Store and Google Play, web applications and progressive web apps, cross-platform solutions, and backend infrastructure with API layers. The platform choice depends on the product requirements — we recommend the right approach during the discovery phase rather than defaulting to one stack.
Six phases. Discovery and scoping defines the product and AI opportunity. AI architecture design selects models and designs data pipelines before any interface work begins. Product design creates the UI/UX for AI-native interactions. Development builds the full stack — frontend, backend, AI layer, and integrations. Testing validates the application and AI model accuracy. Launch deploys to production with monitoring, and post-launch iteration improves the product based on real usage data.
Yes. Full ownership of the application, source code, AI models, data pipelines, and all intellectual property. No lock-in, no licensing dependencies, no ongoing fees for using what we built for you. You own the product.
It depends on the vertical. For production projects, it starts with a creative brief and scope discussion. For agentic AI, we begin with a workflow discovery session to map your existing processes. For event operations, we start with an event scope assessment and module selection. For app development, it begins with a product strategy workshop. In every case, the first step is a conversation with our team to define the scope, timeline, and deliverables.
Pricing varies by vertical and engagement type. Production projects are scoped per-project or as monthly retainer packages. Agentic AI systems follow a setup fee plus pay-as-you-go, project-based, or monthly retainer model. Event platform deployments are priced by package tier and event scope. App development is project-based with milestone-linked payments. We tailor to your budget model — reach out for a specific quote.
Yes, across every vertical. Start with a single production project and expand to a monthly retainer. Deploy one agentic workflow and add more as you see results. Use the Standard event package for one event and upgrade to Enterprise or Mission-Critical for the next. Build one app and iterate. No long-term commitment is required to begin.
All deliverables and intellectual property belong to you. We operate under NDA for all client engagements. Data stays in-region with enterprise security, access controls, and full audit trails. We are built to work with organizations where confidentiality is non-negotiable — government, regulated industries, and enterprise environments.
Yes. We are based in Dubai but work with clients across the GCC, MENA, and globally. All services are delivered from our Dubai operation. For event platform deployments, we provide on-site technical support at the event venue regardless of location.
